These are no longer flagships
The network published the characteristics of two promising Oppo smartphones – Reno4 and Reno4 Pro. Given the almost flagship status of Reno3, one could expect something like this from the new products. But, as can be seen in the picture, Reno4 and Reno4 Pro will be mid-range models.
First you need to say why the information published by the source is generally trustworthy. This presentation slide on the well-known Slashleaks resource was posted by an insider with a history of leaks, and in the past he had already published details about Xiaomi MI Note 10 Lite and Motorola Edge, which were fully confirmed.
Now back to the slide. As you can see, both versions of Reno4 are built on a single-chip platform Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G, equipped with batteries with a capacity of 4000 mAh with support for fast charging power of 65 watts. In Reno3, recall, the SoC MediaTek Dimensity 1000 is used with much greater speed.
There are no 64-megapixel sensors either, the resolution of the main Reno4 and Reno4 Pro sensors is only 48 megapixels. The older model also has optical stabilization and sensors with a resolution of 12 and 13 megapixels. There is no OIS in Reno4, but the “auxiliary” sensors have a more modest resolution of 8 and 2 megapixels.
The basic memory configuration is 8/128 GB. Both models will be offered in versions with 256 GB of flash memory, and the top-end Reno4 Pro will have 12 GB of RAM. It is interesting that in the older model, the front camera is with one sensor with a resolution of 32 megapixels, while the younger one will receive a dual front camera with an additional sensor with a resolution of 2 megapixels.
Alas, the cost and date of the announcement of new products will not be announced. But judging by the number of data leaks and photos Reno4 and Reno4 Pro, smartphones will present very soon.
