OPPO TV R1 smart TVs get HDMI 2.1 support and NFC remotes

OPPO, in addition to the flagship Smart TV S1 , introduced TV R1 panels: the family includes models with a diagonal of 55 and 65 inches, with a resolution of 4K (3840 × 2160 pixels).

New items received a screen with narrow frames on all four sides: it occupies 96% of the front surface area. The claimed 93% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. HDR10 + support ensures high image quality.

The TVs use a MediaTek MT9652 processor with four processing cores. The equipment includes 2 GB of RAM and a flash drive with a capacity of 32 GB.

The panels carry adapters for wireless communication Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi 6. The built-in audio system with Dolby Audio support has a power of 20 watts. External signal sources can be connected via HDMI 2.1 interfaces.

The TVs use the ColorOS TV operating system. The package includes an NFC-enabled remote control: by touching a smartphone, users can quickly stream video or gameplay from their mobile device to a large TV screen.

The sales of new products have already begun. The 55-inch version will cost about $ 500, the 65-inch version – $ 650.
