Philips Momentum 559M1RYV 55 ” gaming monitor features Bowers & Wilkins audio system
The Philips Momentum 559M1RYV monitor, focused primarily on console games, is presented. Specifically, it is labeled Designed for Xbox, which means the panel provides optimal rendering of content from the Xbox Series X.
A large VA matrix is used – with a diagonal of 55 inches. The resolution is 3840 × 2160 pixels, which corresponds to the 4K format. The refresh rate reaches 144Hz and the response time is 4ms (gray to gray).
One of the novelty features is the proprietary Ambiglow ambient lighting: it enhances the viewing experience of content on the screen, creating a glow around the monitor. At the same time, LowBlue mode and anti-flicker technology reduce eye strain.
The panel is equipped with a Bowers & Wilkins Soundbar with a built-in subwoofer: this unit, covered in acoustically transparent Kvadrat wool-containing fabric, will provide excellent sound quality in games.
