Developers from Sony Santa Monica Studio unveiled the sequel to the exclusive God of War series for PlayStation at an event that highlighted new details about the next-gen PlayStation 5 game console.
PlayStation 5’s new God of War revealed
The famous studio has published a short teaser in which in the background the main character of the series Kratos says: “It’s time, you have to get ready.” The teaser ends with the phrase “Ragnarok is coming.”
The video does not say anything about the specific name of the new part of God of War, but there is a hint that the action will unfold in cold locations, judging by the ice and snow shown in the video.
It is also confirmed that the new God of War will only be released on PlayStation 5 as an exclusive in 2021. Either way, this is great news for fans of the series considering purchasing a PlayStation 5.
