American game designer David Jaffe is the creator of the acclaimed game series God of War and Twisted Metal. In one of the latest streams, he announced that the new God of War will appear on the PlayStation 4.

In September, developers from Sony Santa Monica Studio unveiled the sequel to the exclusive God of War series for PlayStation 5 at an event that highlighted new details about the next-gen PlayStation 5 game console.
At the time of the announcement, it was announced that the new God of War will only be released on PlayStation 5 as an exclusive in 2021.
