Ruined King: A League of Legends Story turn-based RPG announced

Riot Forge and Airship Syndicate have announced the turn-based RPG Ruined King: A League of Legends Story. It will be released on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in early 2021, followed by a release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S.

The game’s plot takes place in two regions of Runeterra: the port city of Bilgewater, which is home to sea monster hunters, dock gangs, and smugglers from around the world; and the Shadow Isles – lands cursed by the deadly Black Mist. To defeat the enemy, players will have to form a group of League of Legends champions – Miss Fortune, Illaoi, Braum, Yasuo, Ari, and Pike.

“Ruined King is a great way to expand the world of Runeterra for new players as well as our loyal League of Legends fans,” said Riot Forge CEO Leanne Coombe. – Ruined King will be the first single-player game in the League of Legends universe on consoles and PC. We’re thrilled to dive into the stories and champions that players have enjoyed over the years, and look forward to seeing our players embark on this new adventure with us. ”
