The GeForce RTX 2060, introduced in January 2019, has 6GB of GDDR6 video memory onboard and is built on the TU106 GPU. In July of the same year, the company released an updated version of the GeForce RTX 2060 Super on a new GPU modification with a large number of CUDA cores and equipped with 8 GB of memory. Both versions have proven to be very popular representatives of the Turing series in both the desktop and mobile segments.

NVIDIA continued to produce both variants of the GeForce RTX 2060 until almost the end of 2020. Earlier, she reduced the cost of the regular version of the GeForce RTX 2060 by $ 50 (to $ 299 instead of the original $ 349). Only by December last year, reports began to appear that the manufacturer had stopped production of the GeForce RTX 2060 series of video cards. After that, these models really disappeared from the shelves of most stores, but the remnants of video cards in different versions are still sold by some retailers, but at significantly inflated prices.

For example, on the same online platform Newegg, which allows you to sell goods to third-party sellers, you can find offers to buy GeForce RTX 2060 for $ 500 and more. The remaining video cards of this series from European sellers are estimated at 500 euros.
