Rumors: the sequel to Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic will still be released, but not from Electronic Arts

Several insiders, including shinobi602 and the Star Wars blogger Bespin Bulletin, have announced the development of a new Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic game outside of Electronic Arts.

Recall that the potential return of the “Knights of the Old Republic” may not be associated with EA, back in February 2020, the future Bloomberg journalist Jason Schreier said.

According to several Bespin Bulletin sources, the next Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is one of a number of Star Wars games other studios are working on.

During my ‘digging,’ I heard that the Knights of the Old Republic was being created. I spoke to a couple of people and also learned that according to Jason Schreier, this is not EA and we will “ never guess ” the developer studio, ”Bespin reported Bulletin.

Insider shinobi602 in a discussion of the topic on the ResetEra forum added that the situation is not as mysterious as it seems, and in fact, it is about an “unknown to many people” company.

As for other developments in the Star Wars universe, Bespin Bulletin heard about the previously mentioned project about a bounty hunter by Schreier and a relatively modest game from EA.

We will remind you, in the middle of January it became known that Electronic Arts lost its exclusive status – the game “Star Wars” will now be able to deal with other studios. For example, Ubisoft with Massive Entertainment.
