So, the author of the thematic resource SamMobile discovered an unpleasant problem for the SmartThings service users. As it turned out, the SmartThings app, One UI 3.1 shell, and Galaxy S21 Ultra are not friendly with each other. As a result, using SmartThings consumes a lot of battery power.

According to the source, for 8 hours of use in the background, the SmartThings application “ate” 14.6% of the battery charge, and this is not normal at all. In a little less time (almost 7 hours), the second smartphone, Galaxy Z Flip, when used in the same scenario with the same SmartThings network of devices, lost only 0.1% of the charge “due to” the SmartThings application.
