The Samsung Galaxy M51 is equipped with a 7000 mAh battery. According to DxOMark experts, this smartphone performed better in battery tests than the flagship Galaxy S21 Ultra and other recently released devices.

The smartphone scored a maximum of 88 points. The Snapdragon 888 Galaxy S21 Ultra scores 70 points, while the Exynos 2100 version only scores 57 points. The iPhone 12 Pro Max turned out to be slightly more efficient with 78 points. It is worth noting that the most expensive Apple smartphone still uses a 60 Hz display, while Android flagships, for the most part, have switched to more energy-intensive options with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz.

DxOMark’s battery tests use scientific methodology using Faraday cages and robots with touch manipulators to make the results as objective as possible. The company simulates all kinds of scenarios – from voice calls on 3G networks, streaming music, playing videos, playing streaming video (over cellular networks and using Wi-Fi), as well as used in games. The test takes into account the rate at which the batteries are charged and discharged. In total, it takes 6.5 days to check; it includes more than 70 tests.
