Samsung is close to unveiling the new One UI 3.0 for Android

Back in July, the first rumors began to appear about a new version of the proprietary Samsung One UI interface shell. Samsung announced the beta version of One UI 3.0 last month, but it will only be available to developers in South Korea and the US. But according to new rumors, the first public beta of the new shell could be released earlier than expected.

Samsung recently released an update to the Samsung Wearable app with version number 2.2.33.2008.21.61. Observant users have found that the changelog for the new version of the application mentions R OS support. It is likely that we are talking about Android 11, which should just get a marketing name that starts with the letter “R”. This indicates that Samsung has begun updating its apps and services to be compatible with Android 11, which will also debut One UI 3.0. Given this fact, we can assume that Samsung will very soon announce the launch of the public beta of Android 11. It is assumed that this will happen either in the last week of September or early October. Recall that smartphones of the Galaxy S20 series will be the first to receive the new operating system and One UI 3.0.
