Samsung will update one of its most popular SSD series this year, according to the source. The Samsung 870 EVO 2.5-inch SATA 6Gb / s drives will be available in sizes ranging from 250GB to 4TB. They have not yet been presented, but are already arriving at the retail network. Prices range from 85to 540 dollars.

What kind of memory and controller are used in the new SSDs is still unknown. Obviously, this is Samsung’s own V-NAND memory, but there is no information on the number of layers and how many bits are stored in each cell.
