Samsung to release limited edition flexible smartphone Galaxy Z Fold2 Aston Martin Racing on November 11

About two months ago, Samsung unveiled a version of the foldable smartphone Galaxy Z Fold2, which was designed in collaboration with fashion house Thom Browne. It has now become known that the South Korean tech giant will release a limited edition Galaxy Z Fold2 smartphone in the Aston Martin Racing version. A total of 777 units of the device will be sold. The start of sales is scheduled for November 11.

It is worth noting that Samsung was inspired not by the luxury cars of the British company, but by the style of the BSEM Asia Sonic Racing team, which took first place in last year’s China GT Championship. Two modified Aston Martin V8 Vantage GT4s were used as racing cars.

The smartphone itself is practically no different from the basic version. Its main feature will be the delivery set. In the Galaxy Z Fold 2 Aston Martin Racing box, the buyer will find a leather case, a Galaxy Watch 3 smartwatch also in a special Aston Martin version, a crystal card with a personalized device number, as well as a T-shirt and cap with BSEM Asia Sonic Racing symbols. The entire set will cost $ 3150.

The Galaxy Z Fold2 was unveiled on August 5th. The device is based on the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ chipset. Its main feature is a foldable 7.6-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. In addition, on the outside of the device is an elongated 6.23-inch display covered with the latest Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. The main camera is represented by three 12MP sensors: wide-angle, telephoto, and ultra-wide-angle.
