Such memory will be 25% more energy efficient than GDDR6
Samsung said that the GDDR7 memory it is developing uses PAM3 (pulse amplitude modulation), which will provide 25% higher power efficiency than the current version of NRZ in GDDR6 memory
Samsung has confirmed early reports that its GDDR7 will run at 36GHz. Thus, with a 256-bit bus, the video card will be able to offer a throughput of 1152 GB / s, and with a 384-bit bus, the figure will be 1728 GB / s.
