Krasnogorsk plants them. SA Zvereva, a member of the Shvabe holding, announced preparations for the release of the Zenitar-12 wide-angle full-frame lens. Preliminary information about this Sony E mount product appeared at the beginning of the month.
Shvabe announces full-frame Zenitar-12 lens with Sony E mount
The Zenitar-12 lens is characterized by a focal length of 35 mm and a maximum aperture of f / 2.0. According to the manufacturer, the lens with manual focus and aperture control turned out to be quite compact. It is a small size and high resolution that are named the main advantage of the novelty. Zenitar-12 is said to be “perfect for artistic landscape photography, including architecture and large groups of people, even in confined spaces.”
“The lens is made from 100% domestic components. Today it is presented in the E-mount version, but in the future, we plan to release versions for other mirrorless cameras. Zenitar-12 will appear on the Russian market in mid-October, ”said Ivan Ozhgikhin, Deputy General Director of Shvabe.
The lens is planned to be presented during the international exhibition “Photoforum”, which is to be held from 8 to 10 October at the Moscow exhibition center “Crocus Expo”. The manufacturer has not yet announced the price.
