Snapdragon 888 based Realme V15 flagship will be presented on January 7
In late December, Realme confirmed the existence of a smartphone codenamed Koi. The first teasers of the device hinted that the novelty will receive the flagship Snapdragon 888 chipset. Today, the vice-president of Realme Xu Qi Chase announced that on January 7, the company is going to unveil a new smartphone Realme V15. It is very likely that we are talking about the Realme Koi model.
The vice president of the brand accompanied his words with the publication of several advertising posters on which the device is shown from the front and back sides. It is curious that we could see exactly the same device earlier in live photographs. And it was he who was credited with the presence of the flagship Snapdragon 888 chipset.
According to the available information, the device will receive 12 GB of RAM and a flash drive with a capacity of 256 GB. Also, the device will include a three-module camera with a 64-megapixel main sensor. The novelty will come with the Android 11 operating system, complemented by the proprietary add-on Realme UI 2.0.
In the presented images, the fingerprint scanner is not visible – it is likely that the corresponding sensor will be integrated into the display area. The resolution of the latter will be at least Full HD +. According to rumours, the new product will also be able to boost support for ultra-fast charging technology UltraDART with a capacity of 125 watts. This system allows you to fully charge the 4000 mAh battery in 20 minutes.
