The announcement of the flagship smartphones Honor V40 should take place on January 12
As you know, the independent brand Honor is preparing to release advanced V40 smartphones with support for fifth-generation mobile networks (5G). Internet sources have published a new piece of information about these devices and named the date of their presentation.
According to rumours, the series will include three models – the basic version of the Honor V40, as well as modifications to the Honor V40 Pro and Honor V40 Pro +. The basis will be the MediaTek processors: in particular, there is information about the use of the Dimensity 1000+ chip.
A screenshot has now been posted on the internet showing the Honor V40’s screen refresh rate is 120Hz. The day before, the highest polling rate of the sensory layer was also reported. These features indicate that smartphones are designed with an eye to modern games.
The display is said to be made with OLED technology and has a hole for the front camera. Moreover, older modifications can get a dual selfie module.
As for the date of the official presentation of the Honor V40 smartphones, network sources call 12 January. If this is true, then the announcement will fall on the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2021: the event will be held from 11 to 14 January in a fully digital format.
