The characteristics and appearance of the Amazfit T-Rex Pro smart watch revealed
The Chinese company Huami is preparing a new smartwatch model under the Amazfit brand. While the company hasn’t made any announcements about the preparation of new products under the Amazfit or Zepp brands, a new leak has emerged, hinting at the T-Rex Pro watch’s imminent launch.
This is not the first time information about this device has appeared on the web. The first rumors about the Amazfit T-Rex Pro appeared back in January. Now a large-scale leak has revealed their appearance and specifications. The device’s design has remained almost unchanged from the original T-Rex, but users will have access to three new color options.
As for the technical characteristics, the new watch will receive a 1.3-inch circular AMOLED-matrix with a resolution of 360 × 360 pixels, covered with Gorilla Glass. Among the sensors, it is worth noting an acceleration sensor, a gyroscope, a geomagnetic sensor, an altimeter, as well as a GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, and Galileo receiver. Bluetooth 5.0 will be used for the connection. The watch will boast water resistance of up to 10 ATMs. The battery with a capacity of 390 mAh will be responsible for autonomy. In this case, the weight of the device will be only 59.4 grams.
Among the differences between the T-Rex Pro and the original T-Rex, it is worth noting the higher level of water resistance, an expanded list of supported navigation systems, and the new BioTracker 2 PPG sensor, which provides accurate 24/7 heart rate monitoring with minimal energy consumption. The watch will be available in black, gray, and green, while the original T-Rex comes in five colors, including camouflage. There is no information about when the Amazfit T-Rex Pro will be launched yet, but there is speculation that this may happen as early as March.
