Four models of the Freezer 13 X series have replenished the range of processor cooling systems in the Arctic. As you can understand by the name of the series, it is the successor of the Freezer 13 model introduced in 2010. The series includes Freezer A13X, A13X CO, i13X, and i13X CO models, the first two of which are designed for use with AMD processors, and the second two – with Intel processors. The presence of CO characters in the model name indicates Continuous Operation. By the way, the original Freezer 13 also had a Freezer 13 CO variant.
The cooling systems of the Arctic Freezer 13 X processors are offered in versions for AMD and Intel processors
The design of the cooling systems of the Freezer 13 X processors includes three heat pipes with a diameter of 6 mm. Note that the original model had four tubes, and their diameter was 8 mm. The number of fins of the aluminum radiator has been reduced from 45 to 44. A 92 mm fan is mounted on the radiator. Its rotation speed is adjustable in the range of 300-2000 rpm. The dimensions of the cooling system are 109 x 137 x 86 mm, weight – 443 g. According to the manufacturer, it is suitable for processors with a TDP of 150 watts. The original model was designed for processors with a TDP of 200 watts.
