The Slashleaks website published fairly detailed specifications, as well as high-quality computer images of the Redmi K40 smartphone, which, presumably, should be announced only at the end of this year.

The author claims that the smartphone will be similar to its predecessor, however, the differences will still be quite noticeable and the smartphones will not be confused. The back panel will be made of glass, the main camera is placed in a round block, where four image sensors are located. Under the camera, 5G is visible, which indicates support for fifth-generation networks.
Presumably, the smartphone will be built on the basis of a single-chip Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G system. On the front part in the central upper part, there is a dual front camera. It is also worth noting that all the frames are the same.
The source claims that the smartphone will receive an IPS screen with an image refresh rate of 144 Hz. The fingerprint scanner is located on the side panel, it is combined with the power button.
The smartphone, according to the source, will be equipped with at least 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of flash memory. The older version will receive 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of flash memory. In this case, the price will be about 327 and 364 dollars, respectively.
In all this, the announcement date seems strange, as the source indicates on May 4.
