EMUI 11 official release scheduled for the third quarter
Huawei has just begun to reveal details about the next version of the proprietary EMUI 11 shell. Meanwhile, a list of Huawei and Honor models that are the first to receive the update has appeared on the network.
The first phase of Huawei and Honor smartphones to receive EMUI 11 and Android 11
The list is taken from a screenshot circulating in the Chinese social network Weibo and the Chinese community forum Huawei. Presumably, these models will go into the first wave of distribution of EMUI 11.
Here is the complete list:
- Huawei Mate Series: Mate 30 Pro, Mate 30, Mate 30 RS Porsche Design, Mate 20X / Pro, Mate 20 RS Porsche Design, Mate X.
- Huawei P Series: P40 / Pro, P30 / Pro.
- Huawei Nova Series: Nova 6 5G, Nova5T / Pro, Nova5z, Nova 5i Pro.
- Huawei tablets: MatePad, Mediapad M6.
- Honor line: Honor V30 Pro, Honor V20, Honor 20 Pro, Honor 20s, Honor 20 Youth Edition, Honor 9X Pro.
Huawei’s top manager has already announced that the shell release is scheduled for the third quarter of 2020. The company plans to introduce EMUI 11 in August to HDC 20 (Huawei Developer Conference 2020). The Mate 30 series smartphones will be the first to get access to the test version. And the Mate 40 series smartphones will be the first devices to be released with the preinstalled EMUI 11.
