The total sales of smartphones in this market grew by 241%
According to recent data, sales of Apple iPhone smartphones in China in March this year increased by 416% compared with February and amounted to approximately 2.5 million units.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China confirmed that in March the total sales of smartphones in this market grew by 241% and amounted to 21.8 million units. Although, when compared with last March, sales were 23% lower. However, the result is still very good against the background of the coronavirus pandemic. It shows that the main smartphone market is recovering fast.
In March, 6.2 million 5G smartphones were sold in China, which is 161% more than in February. 5G smartphones accounted for 27% of all smartphone shipments. Android phones accounted for 88% of the Chinese smartphone market in March, compared with 92% in February.
Analysts say Apple’s supply chain has “normalized,” and it is expected that the new iPhone SE will be introduced in the near future.
