The Outer Worlds’ Peril on Gorgon Expansion Coming to Switch on February 10
On its official website, Obsidian Entertainment has announced the release date for the Peril on Gorgon add-on to the Switch version of its satirical role-playing game, The Outer Worlds.
Recall that the first story expansion for The Outer Worlds debuted on other target platforms back in September 2020, while the hybrid Nintendo console owners had to be patient.
However, now the wait is not long. Peril on Gorgon will be available on Nintendo Switch next week, February 10, Obsidian Entertainment reported.
Recall that in Peril on Gorgon, the “Hopeless” team is on the asteroid Gorgon. The heroes will have to uncover the secret of the leader of a doomed research project and influence the entire colony’s fate.
In addition to the additional story, Peril on Gorgon offers increased character development, new perks and flaws, melee and ranged weapons, and abilities.
Patch 1.3 is coming to Nintendo Switch ahead of Peril on Gorgon. The update is already available for download. The patch adds add-on compatibility to The Outer Worlds and makes adjustments to the texture streaming system.
The Outer Worlds is available on PC (Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store, Microsoft Store), PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. The release of Murder on Eridanos - the second story addition to the project – is expected before the end of this year.
