Recently, there has been quite a lot of news about the Xiaomi Mi TV Stick set-top box, which has not yet been officially announced. It is already sold in stores such as AliExpress, Gearbest, and GizTop. In addition, Xiaomi Mi TV Stick has appeared in the databases of the Eurasian Economic Commission, as well as in the Google Play Console, in Geekbench and on the website of the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

Now the device has finally appeared on the official website of the Portuguese unit of Xiaomi, where a specific price is provided. For 45 dollars, customers will be offered a version with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of flash memory, which supports 1080p image output. The start date of sales is not reported, however, the AliExpress website says that deliveries will begin on July 20.
Xiaomi Mi TV Stick is equipped with HDMI and USB-C connectors, the first is used to connect directly to a TV or projector, and the second for power. The remote has separate buttons for launching Google Assistant, Netflix, and Amazon Video.
The younger version with support for 1080p resolution is built on the basis of the Amlogic S805Y single-chip system, the oldest 4K-received Amlogic S905Y2 SoC, 2 GB of DDR4 RAM, 8 GB of flash memory.
