Yandex.Market experts published new statistics on the demand for game consoles and related products for gamers, which rose sharply after the Russians switched to a self-isolation mode.

At the beginning of the month, the demand for game goods increased by more than 60% compared with March, and if compared with the same period a year earlier, it doubled. The most popular game console in Russia since the beginning of March was the Sony PlayStation 4 Pro with an average price of about 30 thousand rubles.
At the same time, the demand for discounted game consoles has quadrupled; many people want to quarantine games, but do not want to pay the full price for the consoles.

The demand for joysticks, steering wheels and other accessories for the month increased by 35%. Also, a sharp jump in popularity has occurred among laptops and desktop computers.
Recently, glasses and helmets of virtual reality on Yandex. Market were searched 220% more often than a year earlier.
