The Witcher 3 Producer’s Studio Presents Gord – An Adventure Strategy Set In A Dark Fantasy Entourage
As promised, after the publication of the first teaser, today the studio Covenant. Dev, founded by a former producer of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Stan Just, has fully presented its debut game, Gord. This is an adventure strategy set in a dark fantasy setting interspersed with Slavic mythology.
The synopsis of the project reads: “Lead the tribe of the Dawn and travel deep into the Forbidden Lands. Complete assignments that will shape the personalities of your charges affect their well-being, and decide the fate of the community. Help the people survive in a dark fantasy world inspired by Slavic folklore. “
The game features include the construction and improvement of your own settlement under constant pressure from enemy tribes and monsters, procedurally generated side missions and random encounters, the presence of custom scenarios, and a combat system using a wide range of spells. It is also important to note that players will have to carefully monitor the condition of the inhabitants in their own village. They have indicators of sanity and burden, which are influenced by a variety of events. If these parameters reach a critical level, the person will get out of control and refuse to obey.
Gord will be released on PC ( Steam ) in 2022; the exact release date has not yet been disclosed.
