Ford sold 2.94 million new cars, improving its last year’s result by 7.5%; Hyundai took fourth place with a result of 2.83 million units, which is 4.7% more than a year earlier.
Toyota leads the global market, and BYD is close to the top 10 leaders.
Honda ranks fifth (2.76 million units; -1.8%), followed by Nissan (2.35 million units; +4.9%), Chevrolet (2.28 million units; +8.6 %), Kia (2.26 million units; +3.5%), Mercedes (1.74 million units; +4.3%) and BMW (1.73 million units; +14.6%).
BYD showed the highest dynamics, increasing sales by 51.3% and taking 11th place, having sold 1.73 million of its cars.
