Valve has postponed the release of a new hero in Dota 2

Dota 2 developers announced the postponement of the release of a new character. It was planned to be released on November 30, but now the date has been shifted to mid-December and tied to the release of patch 7.28. This is reported on the official blog of the game.

Valve did not elaborate on the reasons for the postponement, noting that the developers “need more time to get ready for winter.

In addition, the studio announced the start dates for the new season of Dota Pro Circuit. Competitions will begin on January 28th. In total, six regional leagues will be organized with two divisions, each of which will fight with 16 teams. The best participants will go to the Major. Valve has promised to publish a detailed schedule of matches and tournaments later.

Usually, the studio announces new heroes at The International, but this year it was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. In mid-October, the developers announced plans to release the character in November but did not reveal anything about him. Therefore, the appearance and abilities of the hero are still a secret.
