Video: sadness and joy in the animated trailer for the launch of the second add-on to Dead Cells
Developers from the independent French studio Motion Twin have published a release trailer for Fatal Falls, the second paid add-on to its hardcore action platformer Dead Cells.
The one and a half minute video, as is the tradition with Motion Twin, is made in a cartoon style and tells an independent story in the context of a specific release.
In this case, the video is dedicated to the journey of the main character of Dead Cells through the location added to the game with the release of Fatal Falls, the loss of one friend, and finding a new one, as well as a meeting with an unfamiliar boss.
The addon went on sale for all announced target platforms except Nintendo Switch. The Nintendo hybrid version of Fatal Falls has been delayed for some unknown reason:

- Steam , GOG – $1,75;
- PlayStation Store – $4.73;
- Microsoft Store – $ 5.Together with Fatal Falls, the most complete edition of Dead Cells went on sale. In addition to the main game, this set includes two paid add-ons – The Bad Seed and Fatal Falls.
Dead Cells is available on PC, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and iOS and Android devices. Until February 1st, Nintendo Switch Online subscribers can try the game for free.
