Vivo and Iqoo smartphones can now serve as digital keys for BMW cars

Vivo has officially announced that the digital car key feature in its smartphones now supports cars from the German automaker BMW.

This feature is featured in the Vivo X90, Vivo X80, Vivo X Fold, Vivo X Note, iQOO 10, iQOO 9 series, and many other models. All you have to do is launch the My BMW app on a Vivo phone that supports BMW Digital Keys and sign in to your BMW account.

To unlock the car, the user needs to hold the top of the Vivo phone to the NFC detection area on the driver’s side door handle and wait until the phone displays the message “Completed”. The BMW Smart Key can only unlock the driver’s door.

Simply place your Vivo phone on the wireless charging pad and press the Start/Stop button to start the engine.
