Wastelands of Chaos will open for Warhammer: Vermintide 2 players in April
The cooperative action game Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is already three years old. In honor of this event, Fatshark announced that the Chaos Wastes expansion would be released in April. Unfortunately, there are still few details about the extension.
Back in 2020, Fatshark promised that the Wastes of Chaos would appear in Warhammer: Vermintide 2. In an interview with PC Gamer, Game Director Marten Stormdal said that the next expansion to the game would occur in the Wasteland of Chaos: “In the Wasteland, extraordinary things sometimes happen because there are powerful winds of magic. They are located not far from the portal to the Realm of Chaos, where demons live. “
According to Warhammer mythology, in the Wasteland, people live a harsh, primitive life and are subject to Chaos’ power, which is why they often look like mutants. If the developers of Warhammer: Vermintide 2 cover the entire territory of this area, then in the Northern Wastes, players will see bloodthirsty tribes and the interdimensional Gates of the Ancients, the Southern Wastes – beastmen.
Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is out on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
