For some smartphones, MIUI 12.5 will “arrive” along with Android 11

As Xiaomi recently announced, before the release of a fundamentally new version of the proprietary MIUI 13 shell, we will first have an interim update – MIUI 12.5.

Which smartphones Xiaomi, Redmi, and Poco will update to MIUI 12.5, almost 8 dozen models

In MIUI 12.5, interface changes are expected, including the start page, the interface by pressing the power button, volume control, open applications and notifications, improved launcher animation for opening folders and launching applications, full desktop mode, “approximate” user location for greater security, A quick photo-to-PDF conversion function right in the Gallery and a new camera settings interface, and so on.  

For some smartphones, Xiaomi will release MIUI 12.5 alongside Android 11, but some smartphones will remain on the previous version of Android. A list of smartphones that will receive MIUI 12.5 will already appear on the network. While this information is unofficial and Xiaomi has yet to confirm it.
