Roskachestvo has published an updated rating of smartphones. Previously, it consisted of 160 models, and now 27 more new products have been tested, including the latest Apple series – the iPhone 12.

Now the aggregate Top 5 of Roskachestvo looks like this:

As we can see, from the entire lineup, only the most expensive model iPhone 12 Pro Max got into the Top 5 and only in fourth place, behind last year’s Samsung Galaxy S10 + and iPhone 11 Pro Max, as well as the Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra, which debuted in August. The simpler iPhone 12 Pro made it to the Top 10.
Roskachestvo explained the pros and cons of the iPhone 12. The benchmark scores “excellent” results for shooting quality, performance, and an improved OLED display. Among the disadvantages for consumers is the lack of headphones and a charger in the package.
Roskachetsov emphasized that during the tests if the smartphone does not have the original charger in the kit, a 5-watt adapter is used. The main reason why the iPhone 12 series did not take the lead was precisely this – the new iPhones took much longer to charge with the 5-watt charging adapter than with the 20-watt adapter, which now needs to be purchased separately from authorized Apple dealers.
All 12-series iPhones except the Pro Max have “reasonably average” battery life. Only the Pro Max showed an impressive 41 hours, which earned him a place in the top five.
