Lots of new features – only in the second fall update

Interesting news came for all Windows 10 users. It turns out that next year there will still be two major OS updates instead of one. According to rumors circulated on the web earlier, Microsoft was going to release only one update because large forces and funds will be launched on Windows 10X. But now, the source assures that the traditional cycle with two updates will continue.

Windows 10 will have two major updates in 2021 but don’t expect anything exciting in the first half of the year

At the same time, in terms of their content, the updates will change places: if usually the spring brought a lot of new functions to the system, and the autumn one mainly concerned the elimination of bugs and various fixes, then in 2021, everything will be different: in April-May – additions and corrections, and in October-November – new features. Thus, nothing fundamentally new in the first half of 2021 will appear in Windows 10.

However, new Windows 10 may still appear before the big fall update through monthly cumulative updates. For example, this is how Meet Now debuted in the November update.
