Xbox Series X pre-orders will start “soon”, probably in August
Perhaps this month we finally get the price and release date for the Xbox Series X. Australian telecoms giant Telstra has advised customers to update their data ahead of the console’s “opening soon” pre-orders.
Telstra is a partner of the Xbox All Access subscription service, which allows customers to purchase an Xbox console with an Xbox Live Gold subscription for a monthly fee. Those who agreed to receive information about the Xbox Series X from the company received a message today :
“You signed up to receive information about Xbox Series X. Xbox Series X pre-orders with Xbox All Access are coming soon. This offer is exclusive to Telstra customers – so you need our mobile, mobile broadband, or postpaid home internet service. ”
Xbox CEO Phil Spencer recently mentioned that news of the Xbox Series X should be expected this month. Also, looking back at the launch of previous generations, companies usually began collecting pre-orders for new consoles in August.
Xbox Series X may come out this November.
