A small year has passed, and the company, judging by the latest data, is ready for the commercial application of the technology.

This is indicated by a message published by the famous Chinese insider Digital Chat Station. Previously, he had proved the reliability of his leaks many times. For example, at the beginning of the year, Digital Chat Station correctly predicted the presence of embedded single cameras in the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro models. Apparently, Xiaomi has already really brought the technology to mind and is ready to present it in the near future. Perhaps even tomorrow.
According to rumors, the announcement of the first Xiaomi smartphone with support for charging with a power of 100 W can take place in August, but the model will go on sale in the fall. Xiaomi will have to compete with Oppo – the vice president of the company, Shen Yiren: he already commented on Weibo the news with the words “So who will be the first to launch mass production and offer a commercial smartphone with 100 W charging?”. So the struggle in this segment promises to be no joke, but this is good because, in the end, the user will win.
Interestingly, Xiaomi’s 100-watt charging data and Oppo’s top manager’s comment appeared a day after the news that Snapdragon 875 gaming smartphones coming out next year will receive 100 watts of power.
