Xiaomi has confirmed the imminent launch of MIUI 12.5
Xiaomi introduced the MIUI 12 proprietary firmware back in April. Since then, the company has updated a lot of smartphones to the new software version. Now, almost eight months later, Xiaomi has announced the imminent launch of the updated MIUI 12.5.
Xiaomi sometimes updates the branded fringe of smartphones a few months after the launch of a new version, supplementing it with new features. These firmware upgrades usually get an X.5 prefix to the version number. MIUI 12 will not be an exception. Xiaomi has officially confirmed this information. According to the statement, from December 14, the company will focus on developing MIUI 12.5. Thus, it can be assumed that the new software will debut on the upcoming MI 11 flagships.
