Xiaomi has officially announced the mid-range smartphone Redmi 9 Power, which will go on sale on December 22nd. The device will ship with the Android 10 operating system, complemented by the MIUI 12 proprietary add-on.
The “brain” of the device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor: it connects eight Kryo 260 cores with a clock speed of up to 2.0 GHz, an Adreno 610 graphics accelerator, and a Snapdragon X11 LTE cellular modem. The amount of RAM is 4 GB. The novelty is endowed with a 6.53-inch Full HD + display with a resolution of 2340 × 1080 pixels and a brightness of 400 cd / m 2. Corning Gorilla Glass 3 prevents scratches.
The front-facing 8MP camera is housed in a small on-screen notch. The rear quad camera contains a 48-megapixel Samsung GM1 sensor (f / 1.79), an 8-megapixel unit with wide-angle optics (118 degrees), a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro module.
