Xiaomi is preparing a gaming smartphone Black Shark 3S, possibly on Snapdragon 865 Plus
Soon another gaming smartphone will appear on the market, possibly based on the fresh Snapdragon 865 Plus processor. It could be the Black Shark 3S device, the existence of which was hinted today by the executive director of the Black Shark gaming brand Luo Yuzhou.
Through his Weibo account, Mr. Yuzhou said that “something big is about to happen.” Apparently, he meant the Black Shark 3S smartphone, since his message was published from this, yet unannounced device. You can verify this by looking at the image below.
Admittedly, this is a pretty good way to get attention. It is assumed that this smartphone is an updated version of the Black Shark 3 gaming microphone, released in March this year. Thus, it will join the recently officially unveiled Lenovo Legion Phone Duel and ASUS ROG Phone 3 gaming smartphones running on the same chipset.
Unfortunately, at the moment it is not known exactly what changes can be expected from the Black Shark 3S relative to the Black Shark 3 and Black Shark 3 Pro models presented at the beginning of the year, based on the regular version of the Snapdragon 865 chipset. It is also not yet clear whether the new smartphone will receive Pro -version.
