Xiaomi launches smart lock with NFC, fingerprint scanner and 1080p camera for $ 250
Xiaomi has announced a new smart home device – MIJIA Smart Door Lock Pro, which functions as a video intercom and surveillance camera. Deliveries of new items will begin on November 12.
The device provides seven different ways to unlock and grant room access. This, in particular, entering a password through the built-in keyboard and scanning a fingerprint. It also supports Apple HomeKit, Bluetooth and NFC unlocking, and digital passwords. Finally, the lock can be opened with a regular physical key.
It is noted that when checking fingerprints, the accuracy reaches 98.7%. The integrated video camera supports 1080p video transmission, and the viewing angle reaches 161 degrees.
Means of motion detection, two-way communication, video recording, and transmission of alerts are mentioned. It is powered by four AA batteries and an additional 5000 mAh battery, which will need to be recharged every three to four months.
The Xiaomi MIJIA Smart Door Lock Pro will be available for an estimated price of $ 250.
