Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T with MediaTek Dimensity 800U chip spotted on Geekbench

At the beginning of the month, it was revealed that Xiaomi is preparing to launch a 5G smartphone Redmi Note 9T. The device was spotted in the Geekbench benchmark database today. Apparently, the Redmi Note 9T will be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 9 5G aimed at the Chinese market.

The global version will have a number of small changes compared to the Chinese Redmi Note 9 5G. For example, a device for the Chinese market has 6 or 8 GB of RAM. The international model will receive only one modification with 4 GB of RAM. The heart of the smartphone will be the MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor. The device will ship with aging Android 10 out of the box. In terms of test results, Redmi Note 9T scored 598 points in single-core and 1760 points in the multi-core tests. This roughly corresponds to the performance of the Chinese version of the smartphone, despite the reduced amount of RAM.

It is assumed that the smartphone will receive a 6.53-inch LCD matrix with Full HD + resolution and a triple main camera. The launch date of the device and its cost have not yet been announced.
