Xiaomi smart TVs have gotten a shell update. Models in India get Patchwall 3.4 update
Xiaomi released Patchwall 3.0 earlier this year, and now there is an update in India bringing TVs the Patchwall 3.4 skin.
There are several innovations in the shell. The first is called Immersive Carousel. This is part of the design, meaning that the background of the home screen changes depending on which element is currently selected. For example, when you select a movie, its cover will serve as the background.
The second new feature is called User Center. This is a section where various subscription offers, partner materials and so on are collected.
The last new element is called Live TV. This is a list of all available live TV channels.
