Xiaomi’s first 8K TV will be able to connect to 5G networks
At the end of the summer, it was reported that the Chinese company Xiaomi was preparing to release its first 8K Smart TV. And now Internet sources have published new information about this panel.
The device in question is coded L82M6-8K. The TV is known to be 82 inches diagonal. The resolution is 7680 × 4320 pixels, which is four times higher compared to 4K (3840 × 2160 pixels) and 16 times higher than Full HD (1920 × 1080 pixels).
It is alleged that the TV will be based on a matrix produced by LG Display. Obviously, the novelty will be equipped with a high-quality audio system, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth wireless adapters.
It is said that the arsenal of the flagship Xiaomi TV panel will also include a modem for exchanging data over the fifth-generation (5G) cellular networks. Thus, the TV will be able to receive ultra-high-definition content via mobile communication.
Of course, the novelty will not be cheap. The exact price was not disclosed, but it is noted that it will be slightly lower compared to the cost of the transparent panel Xiaomi Mi TV Lux OLED Transparent Edition, which is offered for $ 7200.
