Sony PlayStation 5 has two “standard” modes of operation – vertical and horizontal. At the same time, in the horizontal mode, the set-top box should lie with a certain side down, which is obviously not for all users.
The “right” side is so unclear that even the head of PlayStation Studios, Hermen Hulst, was caught in a mistake. The top manager recently posted a cute video on Twitter about how his cat likes the game Bugsnax.
However, the enthusiasts saw a terrible thing in the video – the set-top box connected to the TV is turned upside down. Soon Hermann Hulst deleted the original tweet and posted a new video, where the attachment is not included in the frame. However, as is often the case on the Internet, they managed to take screenshots of the original video, and the “evidence” spread across the network.
Correct placement of the console is not very important in the short term, but in the case of prolonged use, it can have a significant impact, as it can interfere with the correct operation of the cooling system with a fan, as well as affect the performance of the optical drive.
