70mai, a sub-brand of the renowned Chinese electronics manufacturer Xiaomi, specializing in devices for cars, has launched a flash sale of the 70mai A400 dashcam. During flash sales, the device can be purchased with a discount of up to 67% using a special offer and a seller coupon.
70mai A400 has an original design, resembling a portable camera in appearance. Unlike most DVRs on the market, offered in the traditional black and gray metallic color, the 70mai A400 is available in various color options, including red, gray, and ivory. The 70mai A400 is marketed as a device for modern drivers seeking new experiences and showing their special taste.
Using two cameras (the second rear camera is purchased separately), the DVR can record two-channel, providing full coverage for additional safety of everyday driving. The front 3.6-megapixel camera (maximum aperture – f / 2.0) with the Gc2053 image sensor with support for night vision technology records video in QHD (2560 × 1440 pixels) in MP4 format, surpassing the usual 1080p resolution for entry-level DVRs.
With a declared maximum field of view of 145 °, the dashcam covers at least three lanes, recording more events in each frame. The optional rear camera supports 1080p video recording.
The video recorder is equipped with a 2-inch IPS screen, has a Wi-Fi wireless adapter onboard, a USB 2.0 port, and a slot for microSD memory cards up to 128 GB. The device supports parking mode. When the G-sensor detects sudden shocks, the dashcam will automatically activate video recording to capture potential incidents. In case of activation of video recording in the parking lot, the driver will receive a voice notification as soon as the engine starts.
