Dongfeng’s Voyah brand has released another set of official images of its Zhuiguang PHEV sedan. The new car has an electric range of up to 262 km and a full range of 1,260 km. Its pre-sale will begin at the Guangzhou Auto Show on November 17.
This is a hybrid version of the previously released electric car. The Zhuiguang PHEV will have a fastback body style with flush-mounted door handles, pass-through taillights and a panoramic sunroof. The main change is noticeable at the front. Due to the addition of the engine, the PHEV version has a traditional front grille design.

The dimensions of the Zhuiguang PHEV are 5088 x 1970 x 1515 mm, and the wheelbase is 3000 mm. The car is built on the ESSA+SOA platform. Once launched, it will be a direct competitor to BYD Han, NIO ET7 and IM L7.
The powertrain includes a 1.5 liter hybrid engine with a maximum power of 136 kW, combined with two electric motors at the front and rear, producing a maximum power of 176 hp. and 217 hp respectively. The triple lithium battery with a capacity of 43 kWh provides a pure electric range of 262 km on the CLTC cycle. The total range is 1227 km. The previously released Zhuiguang electric car is available in versions with a range of 580 km and 730 km.
The car will be equipped with a “digital vanity” – a long screen that combines the instrument panel, central control screen and front passenger entertainment screen. The rear seats are electronically adjustable and come standard with footrests, ventilation, heating and massage functions.
