Sales will begin in November
Winnebago, an American RV maker, has unveiled a huge travel trailer for less than $30,000.
Available in a variety of lengths and layouts, the Access model starts at $29,600 for the eight-person version. The trailer will go on sale in November 2023 and will be the cheapest model in the Winnebago lineup.
Standard features include stabilizing jacks, water tank heaters, a two-inch auxiliary hitch, built-in Wi-Fi, an enclosed underbody that’s also heated to help keep pipes and wires warm and protected, and a “first-of-its-kind aerodynamic the front.” Depending on the layout, the queen-size bed is located in front or behind, it is complemented by a sofa and a dining area that converts into a bed.
A full-fledged mobile home with a huge kitchen, bathroom and porcelain toilet – under $30,000.
Full details of options and upgrades are not yet available, but Winnebago’s website lists four trailer plans. Two of them, 25ML and 30BH, have large slide-out elements on the left side. This allows for seating space, and the 28FK also has seating space with a smaller slideout on the side. Versions 26BH and 30BH have bunk beds. All layouts include a fully equipped bathroom, a large dining area and a kitchen with a three-burner stove.
All versions are equipped with a porcelain toilet bowl and LED lights inside and out. Large windows are installed for natural light.
