Production is carried out by Seres
Huawei and Seres unveiled the Aito M9 at the Guangzhou Auto Show on Monday, November 20. The flagship SUV is available from $70,000 to $84,000.
Pre-sale incentives include a $1,400 discount off the vehicle’s final price with a $700 deposit. Customers placing orders will also receive priority shipping. The list of bonuses includes a visit to the factory where electric SUVs are produced.
The dimensions of the full-size SUV are 5230 × 1999 × 1800 mm. The wheelbase is 3110 mm. Tire characteristics: 265/40 R22 and 285/40 R22. The car is offered as an electric car and a hybrid.
The EV version has a dual-motor layout supplied by Huawei. The front engine has a maximum power of 217 hp, the rear – 312 kW. The triple CATL battery has a capacity of 97.682 kWh, which provides a range of 630 km. The car supports 800-volt charging.

The EREV hybrid version is equipped with a 1.5 liter engine producing 152 hp. and two electric motors with 224 and 152 hp. A battery with a capacity of 40.055 kWh provides an electric range of up to 175 km.
Aito is a joint project between Huawei and Seres. Seres handles production, while Huawei supplies electric motors, chips, sensors and other elements. Aito currently sells two models in China: the M5 and M7 SUVs.
The electric car will officially go on sale next month.
