Acer unveils impact-resistant ENDURO Urban tablet and laptop
Acer today announced that it had expanded its ENDURO brand to offer enhanced reliability devices. They need to meet the needs of users looking for a rugged electronic companion for harsh environments. Therefore, ENDURO devices are protected to IP53 and MIL-STD-810H standards. The company today announced the ENDURO Urban T1 tablet and the ENDURO Urban N3 laptop.
The Acer ENDURO Urban T1 is a 10-inch Android tablet. From a technical point of view, this is a fairly simple device. The tablet is built based on a quad-core chipset, and Android 10 Go Edition is used as the operating system. The display resolution is 1920 × 1200 pixels. The device weighs 595 grams and is 9.8 mm thick. Its durable casing is made of shock-absorbing materials, and the ports are covered with plugs to protect from moisture.
The ENDURO Urban N3 laptop is much more interesting technically. It is based on an 11th generation Intel Core i7 processor, which works in conjunction with DDR4 RAM, which can be up to 32GB in size. The SSD drive capacity can reach 1 TB, and the graphics card is responsible for the processing of graphics NVIDIA GeForce MX330. The device is made in a sturdy casing made of shock-absorbing materials, which does not make it bulky. The 14-inch computer weighs 1.85 kg and is 21.95 mm thick.
The cost of the basic version of the Acer ENDURO Urban N3 is $ 799. The ENDURO Urban T1 tablet has not yet gone on sale, and its cost is still unknown.
