Linda Yaccarino does not intend to do this yet

Linda Yaccarino, X’s chief executive, is facing pressure from advertisers to resign, according to the Financial Times. Many major brands refused advertising after Elon Musk’s statement .

Some of Yaccarino’s closest supporters in the advertising world and corporate executives are recommending that she resign to save her reputation. However, she believes in the goals of X and the people working there.

Lou Paskalis, who runs a marketing company, advised Yaccarino to leave, warning that brands could face problems from shareholders and angry customers if they continued to advertise on X. He believes any brand advertising on X now is a bad choice.

Musk hired Yaccarino to bring back advertisers who had stopped spending money on the platform because of the innovation. She previously worked in advertising at NBCUniversal and was highly respected in the industry.

According to the Financial Times, people began asking Yaccarino to leave while she was attending her daughter’s wedding. Last week she wrote that X is working hard to combat anti-Semitism and discrimination.

Musk denies being anti-Semitic and says he wants a better future for everyone.
